Working with Providence Consulting CPA follows six steps: reach out, a short fit conversation, an initial consultation, a scoped proposal, onboarding, and an ongoing partnership. Monthly accounting starts at $295 (Bookkeeping), $745 (Outsourced Controller) or $1,250 (Fractional CFO & Advisory); the final fee is set in the proposal. See pricing and the FAQ.

Fit conversation
We have an email exchange or brief phone call to see if we are a fit for each other. If there appears to be a fit, we'll put you in the workflow for an initial consultation.

Initial consultation
We get you set up in our system for an initial consultation. You receive a few emails to activate your account, sign an engagement letter, and complete a new client questionnaire. Once you complete your new client questionnaire we schedule your consultation. During your consultation we talk about your situation, plans, timeline, and what you need from a CPA. Depending on your situation we may also provide advice or give you next steps to follow.

Create a proposal
We analyze your situation and complexity. For complex situations we work with you to create a formal Scope of Work for a bespoke offering. If your situation is more structured or predictable we may provide you standardized pricing models. In either case our goal is to clearly define the scope you are looking for and provide price transparency.

Onboarding
Onboarding varies based on your needs. For individual taxpayers this may be as simple as putting you in the workflow for next year's tax return. For businesses with accounting services, we have a structured process to gain accountant access to your systems. Permissions are limited based on scope to maximize security, while allowing us to pull data and reports without bothering you.
